HOW IT WORKS THE DRAWER STORE CONTACT
CASE FILE DETECTIVE GAME
COLD FILE.
You get the file. Nobody tells you what matters.
The incident report, the autopsy, the access logs, the interview transcripts, the dead man's phone. Four to six people who all had a reason. You read it, you work it out, and you name three things: who did it, why, and the exact three pieces of evidence that prove it.

THE DRAWER
The drawer, cases ready to work
STATEMENTS LIE. LOGS DON'T.
A man says he took the 8:45 ferry. The harbor log says the 8:45 was canceled at 8:20. Nothing in the game points that out. That is the whole game.
Case briefing
THE BRIEFING
THE COUNTY HAS ALREADY DECIDED. THE COUNTY IS WRONG.
Every case opens on a victim with a face and a life, and the ruling somebody wants filed. Then you get the folder. Nine to twenty-one documents depending on difficulty, unlocked in stages. To open the next set you type what you have worked out so far. Not multiple choice. You type it.

EXHIBIT L, FORENSIC MIRROR
HIS PHONE, THE WAY THE LAB GOT IT
Threads, call log, camera roll with timestamps and locations, voicemail transcripts, notes with earlier revisions, email, browser history. Around fifty artifacts per case, and most of it is nothing. That is deliberate. Triage is the skill, and triage doesn't exist until there is more in front of you than you can read.
The corkboard with pinned cards and red string
THE BOARD
RED STRING, AND A REASON WRITTEN ON IT
A free board you can pan and zoom. Pin documents, pin single photographs, drag them where you want them, and tie two cards together with a note saying why. It is the thing everyone pictures when they picture doing this, and it works.
Scene photographs exhibit
1,300 PHOTOGRAPHS
Scene, exhibits, and a portrait of everyone in the file. Tap any of them for full screen, pinch to zoom.
Interview transcript
THEY TALK BACK
Transcripts that push back, correct themselves, and ask for a lawyer at the point it starts to hurt.

REAL FORENSICS
Traumatic asphyxia recording the shape of what caused it. Carboxyhemoglobin turning skin cherry pink. Fatigue striations on a fractured bolt. Researched, not invented.
FILING THE CASE
TWO TRIES,
THEN IT GOES COLD.
Name the accused, the motive, and exactly three exhibits. All three right and the case closes. Anything wrong and you have one filing left. Miss twice and it stays open on your record for good.

73 CASES IN THE DRAWER.
Roughly sixty hours already filed, and it grows. A monastery cellar. An auction house. A press hall at 2am. A ski patrol hut. A prison law library. A container ship's engine room. A hilltop radio transmitter. A telephone exchange. Each case is a closed world with its own vocabulary.

RATED TEEN
THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE AI-GENERATED
No real people, no real crime scenes, no real victims. Every image was made for this game. All the writing is human.
NOTHING HERE IS A REAL CASE
Every person, place and death is invented. The forensic reasoning inside them is real and described as accurately as we can. The cases are not.
